Child injured in trolley accident at Orlando Disneyland

ORLANDO, Florida. — July 2 — An unattended 4-year-old guest was involved in a serious incident on Main Street at Orlando Disneyland, where she was struck by a moving trolley at approximately 10 a.m. According to initial reports, the child was unattended at the time of the accident. Emergency medical personnel were immediately called to the scene and transported the child to a nearby hospital. We are heartbroken by this incident and hope that she makes a quick recovery. Park officials are fully cooperating with local authorities as the investigation continues. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, no personal details are being shared at this time.

At Orlando Disneyland, the safety of our guests, especially that of our young princesses, is our top priority. Our parks are designed to provide experiences that foster an environment that prioritizes family care and guest safety, and we are constantly reviewing and enhancing our safety procedures for this reason. We kindly urge all parents and guardians to keep a close eye on their children at all times while in the park. With the excitement of the Disneyland experience, it can be easy for little ones to become distracted or momentarily separated. Please help us keep the magic alive and safe for everyone by staying together, holding hands in crowded areas, and reminding children not to run ahead.

At this time, we are reviewing the incident in detail to determine whether additional safety measures are needed. In the meantime, our cast members continue to be available throughout the park to offer assistance and ensure that every guest, no matter their age, has a safe experience. Thank you for your understanding and for being a valued part of the Disney family. Together, we can help preserve the magic for all.
